First of all, THESE ARE SO EASY TO MAKE. Second of all, kale is one of the healthiest vegetables around. Kale is very high in beta carotene, vitamin K, vitamin C, and vitamin A (Check out the full nutrition facts, here). These “chips” are a great way to quickly prepare this superfood. Plus, if you have a taste for potato chips, these will satisfy the salty crunch that you are craving.



However much kale you want
Enough olive oil to lightly coat all of the leaves
Seasonings of your choice (I like salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Chili powder also works well)


Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F. Tear the kales leaves away from the stems into relatively equally sized pieces. If the pieces vary greatly in size, they will not bake evenly. Lay your leaves evenly in one layer on a baking sheet. Either drizzle or spray olive oil on the leaves and season to your taste. I have an amazing oil spritzer that you can fill with any oil of your choice. I usually keep it full of olive oil, I would highly recommend one as a kitchen tool! Bake for 5 to 7 minutes checking frequently. The chips will be done when the edges of the leaves begin to brown. YUM!
