A while ago mini-me (my sister) sent me a recipe for Crunchy Quinoa Granola which looks amazing. So, I wanted to try it this morning BUT there was one serious problem. I didn’t feel like rinsing my quinoa… because it is so much work, I know. I am just lazy on Sunday mornings, okay? Give me a break! So I decided to make the recipe without the quinoa, and without raisins, and without flax seeds because I had none… but with the addition of shredded coconut and extra cinnamon, it turned out AMAZING. It is currently my favorite season of the year, PUMPKIN FLAVORED THINGS SEASON. So, this morning I decided to try out a new pumpkin scones recipe. They turned out moist and delicious, even those I opted to make them without the sugar laden glaze… I would highly recommend this recipe, I had mine with a cup of green tea with honey, perfect! Pumpkin on, BITCHES!
Sorry, more muffins. I really really like muffins. Like, a lot. I’ve mentioned I’m always rushing around in the morning because I’d much rather sleep in than have a calm, relaxing morning. I like the challenge of sleeping in as late as possible, then trying to get ready as fast as I can and still make it to my 9 am meetings at work. Rarely am I late. I take pride in my routine. (more…)
If you’re like me, when you buy bananas from the grocery store, there is about a 2 day time frame where they are suitable to eat. Otherwise, they are effectively toxic and I will dispose of them appropriately. However, there is one occasion in which I will ingest bananas that are too ripe for consumption, and that is in this recipe. (more…)
In the morning, I prefer to sleep in, then try to get ready for work in a rushed panic. So, that usually means I don’t have time to make a real breakfast. Sorry, I’d rather shower than fucking stink all day but have time making eggs Benedict in the morning.
